Monday morning May 6th's venture near Monument Valley.

After arriving at Goulding's campground Sunday, I when out Monday AM just "riding around". I took a right out of the campground instead of turning left toward Monument Valley proper. I ran out of asphalt in about a half mile and onto soft, DEEP sand roads. Turns out I end up "in the hood". Houses/ranches(?) were few and far between but it gave me a "feel/taste" of local living. It's obvious I was in awe of the rock formations. Every 100 yards, the landscape would change and distant, interesting formations would peek out around nearby "rock mountains". I think the goats were talking about (laughing at?), me ...
